A profitable-looking account doesn’t mean every gain is locked in.
During the DSJ public test, I separate:
• Realized PnL — profit or loss from closed trades
• Unrealized PnL — profit or loss still moving with open positions
Why does this matter?
Because unrealized gains can disappear before a position is closed.
So I don’t want to judge DSJ by one big equity number alone.
What matters is how much performance is actually realized — and how much risk is still open.
