After finishing the Verne Trilogy, it feels as if I've joined the protagonists on an adventure across the seas and a deserted island. The sea voyage in The Children of Captain Grant is fraught with the unknown and peril; the underwater world in Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea reveals a mysterious and beautiful realm beneath the waves; and the castaway survival in The Mysterious Island showcases human ingenuity and bravery. Verne constructs a world brimming with fantasy and science through his writing, allowing us to experience the joy of exploration and the tenacity of life while reading.
