I care more about post notification in the channels I host than any announcement I've seen.
From observation announcements are used very liberally to where they have no meaning any more. Just feels like a no risk high reward play for casts that otherwise should just be subject to the draw of the algo.
Announcements have been so noisy I reluctantly check the channel tab because it's rarely what I want to see any more and just tons of casts I feel are being shoved down my throat. I considered unfollowing all the channels abusing (in my loose definition) announcements but just grew tired of the process after 2 channels. Didn't help that the announcements still lingered in my notifications!
