I've been admittedly a bad channel host ever since channel notifications were moved to their own tab, and announcements were introduced. Coupled with switching to an M4 Mini as my main server (basically just has a DAS and Home Assistant) I haven't been actively tinkering. Fingers crossed the support for virtualization and LXCs on Tahoe makes for a better server experience. Otherwise I might get a Beelink or something and run back to proxmox. I want to be more active here as this is probably the one topic I have a ton of interest in here but lacked motivation to participate. All this to say I am very grateful for the uptick in casts here, and wanted to thank y'all for being inspiring. π₯Ή

I've been considering building a home lab (something like an N100 w/ a Coral AI accelerator) to modernize my home security camera setup without needing to replace the analog cameras (wiring them in the attic was a pain), since they're already 4k and adequate quality - the notifications from my Lorex analog DVR are just worthless I tried doing a test setup on my PC but that was more hassle than it was worth I have at least been able to find the RTSP streams, so I should be able to get them to work with Frigate when I eventually buy the hardware https://farcaster.xyz/eirrann.eth/0x221b3b31
