What is the @baseapp Project?The @baseapp (Base app) is an "everything app" built on the Base blockchain (Coinbase's Ethereum Layer-2 network). It's essentially an evolution of the former Coinbase Wallet, rebranded and expanded into a unified platform for social networking, app discovery, chatting, payments, trading, and earning onchain. Launched in beta around mid-2025, it aims to onboard the next billion users to crypto by making onchain interactions seamless and rewarding.
