My background is in archaeology. Some think that has nothing to do with tech. They’re wrong. There’s no better science for understanding growth than history itself.
Archaeology taught me how to see the bigger picture and recognize the patterns that shape it. I’ve studied how empires rose and fell, touched the layers of burnt civilizations (literally), and felt the echoes of humanity’s endless wars.
In history, the only ones who endured the test of time were the culture builders. The ones who planted the first seeds of science, literature, philosophy, democracy, math... What they grew was so sustainable that we’re still eating the fruits today!
Powerful empires built with invasion rather than cultivation always ended up the same way: exhaustion, social fragmentation, and collapse from within.
So grow like gardeners: intentional, considerate, and invested for the long term.
