IMO #4 🌶️ open letter crypto was born downstream of people refusing to stay quiet & accept status quo. it’s one of our core values. you simply can’t say you’re crypto-forward while centralizing the power around yourself and then delegitimizing crypto community’s voice like an inconvenience & removing access points. ‘many such cases’ have shown that groupthink doesn’t create progress. surrounding yourself with yes-men limits your perspective + creates tunnel vision. it isn’t pragmatic and/or scalable. if you want to grow within the crypto ecosystem, you have to: *put your ego aside. listen + learn from your community *stop treating negative feedback as “opportunity for exit” *stop discriminating against the voices you don’t want to hear from and if you can’t do these, at least stop gaslighting. this means you are no different than the systems we wanted to change in the first place and our right to exit remains. we’ll keep watching the consequences unfold.
