What is @letshaveaword?
I’ve built a massively multiplayer word hunt on @base.base.eth — everyone eliminates wrong answers together until one player hits the ETH jackpot.
⚙️ How it works
→ Each round has a secret 5-letter word (cryptographically hashed + provably fair)
→ Everyone plays the same word at the same time
→ Every wrong guess is publicly added to the elimination list
→ Wrong guesses = free intel for everyone
→ First person to guess correctly wins the jackpot
🔁 The twist
This isn’t competitive elimination — it’s collaborative deduction with a single winner. Every failed guess brings the entire community closer to the answer.
🌅 Daily guesses
→ 1 free guess
→ +2–3 if you hold 100M+ $CLANKTON
→ +1 for sharing on Farcaster
→ Buy 3 more for 0.0003Ξ+ (max 3 packs/day)
🫰 Prize pool
When someone wins, the ETH prize pool is split:
→ 80% — Winner
→ 10% — Winner’s referrer
→ 10% — Split among the top 10 early guessers
(If there’s no referrer, that 10% rolls into the next round’s seed)
🧮 Economics
Each paid guess:
→ 80% → current prize pool
→ 20% → next round seed (up to 0.03Ξ, then platform/creator)
