Converted Cars From the RHD (Right Hand Drive) To The LHD (Left Hand Drive) is a common practice among cars imported from some parts of Europe and Asia eg (the UK and Japan). So, once the car enters Nigeria, they remove the steering from the right-hand side and place it on the left-hand side. That is, the total conversion of the entire dashboard so that it can be sellable in Nigeria. Some of these cars, when the conversion is not well done and they are driven for some time, start developing a lot of issues that can frustrate the owner. So I wanna show you the simplest way to spot a converted car in case you're shopping for cars you don't have to depend on your mechanic for everything. This VIN/Chassis Number plate or sticker is factory-fitted on the driver’s side only. Whether the driver’s side is on the right or left that's where you'll see the sticker so henceforth any car you see with this sticker on the opposite side of the driver’s side just know that the car is converted.
