Forgive us, brothers and sisters in Aceh and North Sumatra. Usually, whenever a disaster strikes in another region, West Sumatra is always the first to act. With open arms and sincere hearts, we send tons of rendang as a sign of love and brotherhood. Rendang is more than just food—it is a symbol of our presence, our care, and our desire to ease the burden on our brothers and sisters. But this time, with heavy hearts, we must say: sorry, West Sumatra cannot send rendang as usual. Our land is crying. Our homes have been swept away, our families have been left homeless, many of our relatives have died, and our tears fall with the torrential floods and landslides that have struck. It's not because we don't want to help. It's not because our concern has diminished. But because we are struggling to recover from the same wounds. Even so, our prayers never stop. May Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra be strengthened in facing this trial. #prayforsumatra-indonesia
