right now, farcaster’s main appeal is that it feels like a small, aligned corner of the internet: pro-crypto, pro-decentralization, etc but that feeling probably fades once the network reaches a certain size — so what becomes farcaster’s main draw then? personally, i don’t think mini apps or decentralization alone will be enough to convert the mainstream the monetization opportunities are definitely compelling — but is that enough? is money more important than reach for creators? is money more important than entertainment for consumers? maybe farcaster will need a new kind of differentiation once it crosses that threshold

That’s the part that seems off to me. Like all these people who claim to be after consumer crypto don’t seem to have any normal friends irl? Like if you really believe in onboarding the next billion people why haven’t you tried onboarding your friends? It’s because most people are already exhausted with social and tech in general. Trying to onboard and teach them about crypto makes it worse. Many of my creator friends hate and loathe the concept of monetizing through socials. I don’t say much because I don’t have answers to the problems, but weird as hell to see so much pursuit for people that will eventually help pump bags yet not actually care about what they want.

Why. I Like $qr $bracky . Use case transcends crypto. Just uses crypto rails. $betr is potentially a really good solution to getting mints. But don’t see who or how it gets funded forever. /remix seems to be a banger too. I cheer on xrp with the fam.
