Finally getting around to a kitchen remodel. 🤞
Electrician friend over to discuss what’s needed. He starts to mention about how island outlets can’t be in the side anymore. Which I had seen and for some reason just accepted at face value.
Then he mentions the reason for it is because kids can use them and plug stuff in. Trip hazard even.
Followed by. Every wall has an outlet 12 inch’s above the ground ever 24” !

Someone had to sell pop up outlets is the only logical answer.
(Which seem cool , but how can they not break!)
