Base App Update 🟦
After experimenting with a SocialFi direction via Farcaster, Base App has realized that this approach hasn’t been very effective in attracting and retaining users.
As a result, Base is shifting back to its core strength: wallet integration and on-chain infrastructure, instead of continuing to chase the social narrative.
This move actually makes sense — Base App originally evolved from Base Wallet, so a wallet-first strategy is closer to its true DNA.
👉 Once again, the market proves:
SocialFi is far from being a proven model,
and not every project backed by Paradigm is guaranteed to survive till the end.
Web3 is still in a strong filtering phase.
Only products with real utility will last.
