Talking about, why not both. Tether has been tokenizing Gold for quite some time. I believe around 7 tons of it (?). Which, those liking a bit more stable collateral in the digital economy for DeFi might sleep more relaxed with, than currently still wild swinging BTC. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tether-gold/
