With the rise of Layer 1 blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche, the real question is: can these networks continue to grow without compromising decentralization? As adoption increases, so do concerns about centralization and validator control. With Ethereum’s transition to Proof of Stake (PoS) and Solana’s performance-based scalability, will these networks stay decentralized in the long run? As validators take on more power, will these blockchains retain their security and trustlessness, or will they shift towards becoming controlled ecosystems?
