Well this is out of left field. Was looking at the contract & most people that buy an NFT chess piece (only $0.49!) buy The Executioner, which I guess makes sense because it’s next on the list after the free ones.
But after that, the most sought-after NFT is….The False King. Which makes sense as it completely upends your opponent’s strategy.
When you deploy the False King, you now have two king pieces on the board, and the game randomly chooses which is now the “real” king and which is the deceiver. Only you know which is the true king because he’ll have a little gold crown symbol affixed to him. But your opponent can’t see that! They don’t know which is the real king which completely screws up their strategy for getting you into check.
But beware - your opponent could always deploy a False King as well. Or any of the other 33 NFT chess pieces in Chaos Chess!
