I’ve seen some new things this cycle. It looks like SocialFi tied into privacy is going to be a thing. It also looks like BASE will fill an important role in layer 2s, despite ARB and OP doing the same thing. It also also looks like RWA can find a home on their own IBC chains faster than ETH, curious why.

- social fi examples like TON seem to have set a precedent of not just private chat like Signal but also transmit or receive crypto in secure chat. This will be interesting once ppl catch on. Privacy hasn’t always done well like TORN bc they are favoured by hackers. But normies want privacy too.

- BASE surprises me with the lower side of L2 fees, but most of all having perfect timing in a meme szn to pick up the baton the SOL dropped with its outages. We all knew SOL would fail again, if not temporarily, 4-5 days of bad txs is a bad look. Normies flock to a working chain but also it’s boasting fresh coins.
