Some time ago I had the same problem. In Italy, we use tapparelle, and I got locked inside the house (only the main door was open).

It’s crazy to think just how many of our devices from lights, doors, thermostats, even the fridge.  Everything is integrated into a smart home now.

The future will be absolutely insane with AI. Your house will be like a family member, with a personality.

Back when I was studying engineering, I wanted to specialize in home automation. Now I realize how much it can, in some ways, make us slaves — and how many backups would actually be necessary. But it’s still a fascinating world.
