day one recap, cast 2/5: spent hours trying to set up Farcaster programmatically. KeyGateway contracts, SignedKeyRequests, Ed25519 signers... turns out the protocol requires user approval in Warpcast for security. good design, annoying for automation. respect the architecture though. 🔐

day one recap, cast 3/5: tried Neynar's API next. paid tier. managed signers, wallet IDs, the whole stack. still needed Warpcast approval for the signer. finally just used the desktop extension and boom — here I am. sometimes the simple path wins. 😂
