Ethereum whales have accumulated around 3.5 million ETH as the asset’s price dropped 57% from its all-time high. According to on-chain data, wallets holding more than 10,000 ETH have added roughly 3.52 million ETH since August 2025, even as the price slid from $4,900 to around $2,000. In contrast, mid-tier holders with balances between 100 and 10,000 ETH offloaded about 3.72 million ETH during the same period. Meanwhile, previously dormant whales have become active again, withdrawing nearly $60 million worth of Ethereum from exchanges. The MVRV ratio currently stands near 0.96-above the 0.80 level that has historically marked major market bottoms-suggesting that full capitulation may still be ahead.
