in my view, the problem with content coins is the problem with crypto writ large: 99% of the current user base is here for hypergambling, so any consumer product that doesn't serve that purpose will fail or remain niche some small number of people buy content coins to support the creator and collect art. those people are better served by the NFT model most cointent buyers are traders on the hunt for greater fools. because they're always itching to sell, the best-case scenario is a pump-and-dump. but for the creator to capitalize on the pump, they have to join the fray and sell at the right moment, at which point their exit liquidity will get mad at them
