1) 🧵 Heading into Memorial Day weekend, here's everything that happened in crypto policy this week market structure, tokenization, the Fed, and a new Chair. A full breakdown 👇 2) 📌 The Senate left for recess WITHOUT passing the reconciliation package which means the Clarity Act (crypto market structure bill) is now fighting for floor time when they return in June. The calendar is brutal housing bill, farm bill and a FISA deadline on June 12 are all competing. 3) ⏳ There growing talk that the Clarity Act may not hit the Senate floor until July. Why does that matter? It raises real questions about whether it can clear Congress before the August recess a critical window for final passage. 4)🔧 Despite the delay, work is happening. Senate staff began merging text between the Agriculture and Banking Committee versions of the bill. Technical drafting is expected to continue throughout the recess. Progress just slower than hoped.
