once i am done with the bull market i will buy a holiday home in tuscany, italy.
italy has it all:
- houses are really cheap bc the population is ageing and a lot of old castles/villas are becoming available
- the food is world class
- the nature is beautiful
this 52 room mansion has been on the market since the last bull market for $2 mil. people in italy can't afford the maintenance costs. i would renovate it and make part of it a hotel and the other half is for me.
i already have two friends in florence, which is why i chose tuscany. ideally, some more of my successful friends buy in the same area and we got ourselves a little village.
