DAO voting is a decentralized process where members of a community make decisions collectively. It operates on different platforms, each with its own mechanisms.
Snapshot, for instance, is an off-chain solution that allows token holders to vote on proposals without engaging in gas-intensive transactions. Users signal their intentions using their tokens, which are not moved or sold during the process.
On-chain voting, however, takes place directly on a blockchain. Here, each vote is a transaction that confirms a member’s decision and is recorded on the blockchain, providing transparency and immutability.
DAO voting empowers members to shape their community's direction, ensuring decisions reflect the collective will of the token holders.
