In 2018, Binance Exchange invested $3 million in the Terra ecosystem, acquiring 15 million Luna tokens. Zhao Changpeng stated that this investment was worth $1.6 billion at Luna's peak price, but after the collapse of Luna, its value plummeted to nearly $0.
