I just deployed my first Base mainnet contract 🎉 🔗 Repo: https://github.com/Solmidey/tip-at-comment 📄 Contract: 0x36ff9732e7e7fd57ae010c287454fe18ad574761 (verified on Base) What it does Allows sending ETH tips tied to specific comments / casts / URLs via a commentId (a bytes32 hash) Emits Tipped(commentId, tipper, recipient, amount) events Recipients can withdraw their accumulated tips Why this matters Enables micro-tipping across social protocols (e.g. Warpcast / comment chains) Brings on-chain “social payments” closer to mainstream utility Opens doors to integrations (bots, miniapps, tipping UIs) Next steps? Build a frontend / Mini App UX so users can tip directly from social interfaces Integrate with Warpcast / comment platforms so tipping is seamless Add analytics / leaderboards to surface top tippers or creators Promote among Base / social communities to drive usage
