What happens when the show ends, the lights come up, and the crowd is roaring with applause, but none of it reaches us? We stand there on stage, sweating, hearts pounding, waiting for that wave of sound to crash over us, to tell us we did something right, something that mattered. But it never comes. The claps are there, we can see hands moving, mouths open in cheers, yet no noise breaks through the wall. It's total silence on our side. A thick, dead quiet that swallows everything. We're stuck in limbo. Not hated, not loved, just unseen and unheard. The reaction is real, but locked away from us forever. We perform, we bleed, we give everything, and the judgment arrives in a form we can never feel or trust. It's like screaming into a vacuum that screams back, but the sound never makes the trip. A perfect applause. A perfect prison. Limbo.
