Today I'll be Explaining @zama Homomorphic Encryption and its practical use cases. #ZamaCreatorProgram Homomorphic Encryption (HE) is a cryptographic methods that let you compute or work on encrypted data while Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) means you can do any computation on encrypted data. Blockchains are built on public verification. Everyone can see the transactions to agree on the state of the network. But this creates a massive privacy problem. You can't put sensitive data like your salary, identity, or financial strategies on chain. FHE solves this confidentiality dilemma as it gives us privacy and verifiability Some practical use cases of @zama's FHEVM include: 1-Confidential Finance & DeFi: i-Private Payments: Your account balance and transaction amounts can remain encrypted. No more broadcasting your wealth to the world. ii-Preventing Bots: In DeFi, bots see your transaction and front run you, costing you money. With FHE, your swap amount is encrypted, making it invisible to bots.
