Today I'll be Explaining Privacy vs Transparency: How @zama Solves this blockchain problem #ZamaCreatorProgram Blockchain's greatest strength is also its biggest flaw as anyone can verify transactions on a public ledger meaning there's zero privacy as all our data is exposed this lack of confidentiality is a major roadblock. Therefore for blockchain to go mainstream, we need both verifiability and privacy. The Solution is computing on Encrypted Data. imagine your data is locked in a safe and given to someone to work on and they could perform their task without ever opening the box. That's what Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), the core technology used by @zama offers. Introducing the @zama Protocol @zama has built a protocol that acts as a confidentiality layer for any blockchain (like Ethereum). It allows smart contracts to work with encrypted data as if it were normal data. This means developers can build applications that are both decentralized and private.
