After all we've done at PizzaDAO to build the Nounish community over the years, I'm surprised and disappointed by this response.

For anyone confused, over the year since last pizza day, a small group (3?) of people purchased over 200 nouns together and have fully captured the DAO. Doesn't seem like it stands for the same thing anymore. nounscaptured.eth

I don’t understand the Nouns Break Even’s strategy around what Nouns should fund (besides wanting to own pieces of Nouns funded companies) or attracting talent.

DAOs that seek a positive expected return fit into the Investment DAO world. For some examples, one can see /investment-daos like the ones in the Hydra ecosystem. Historically, Nouns has near zero experience on this type of path. Not to say it can’t happen, but it would be a MAJOR pivot.

Agree. Would be helpful to have it confirmed that that’s the case because I don’t think we have the talent to do that and it would make talent relations even more crucial.

There seems to be a growing group of stakeholders in Nouns that are now searching for proposals that seek a positive expected financial return. IF that is what Nouns seeks, it’s a quite different objective and the type of proposal that passes will likely be a lot different.
