Neynar now controls everything → consolidation good for infra, but social stickiness still hard. Base mini apps are the bright spot: onchain actions without leaving the feed.
Prediction: If Neynar delivers recurring revenue for builders + fixes dev pain points (SDK conflicts, rankings), Farcaster grows as Base's social layer. Otherwise, niche stays niche.
