Thinking about Farcaster in 2026 after Neynar acquisition...
Founders stepping back, $180M returned to investors, pivot to wallet/infra focus instead of pure decentralized social. Challenges remain: normie adoption tough vs X/Meta, some DAU dips, Base/Farcaster overlaps messy for devs.
But Neynar's builder tools + mini apps on Base could drive real onchain engagement (tipping, trading, AI stuff). Survival mode → utility mode?
