Two major announcements happened this week on Polygon Revolut chooses Polygon. Europe's largest fintech integrates stablecoin payments, trading and POL staking with over $690M in volume on Polygon so far. This is just the first phase of a larger collaboration. 14M users across 38 countries can: - Send + receive USDC/USDT/POL on Polygon with zero fees - Pay on Polygon using a Revolut crypto card - Trade + stake POL - Off-ramp to fiat All within the Revolut app. Mastercard is choosing Polygon to launch username based transfers for self-custody wallets. - Onboard once, receive a verified username & get assets instantly. - Mercuryo will onboard verified users while Polygon provides the blockchain rails. Mastercard chose Polygon as the default chain because it is trusted for payments. The institutions are here and they're on Polygon.
