Very well put. Also in that case, what do you think the older metrics like DAU and MAU on a customer level for the app would run into? I think if the softwares are going to be like swipe up scroll and discard after instant consumption or gratification then the measurement for success would also evolve. Can't think of one thing to put a finger to but open to what you think.
