Cardano’s EUTXO model, Plutus (Haskell-based) smart contracts, and formal verification offer superior security vs. ETH’s Solidity, which has higher exploit risks. Its Ouroboros PoS is more energy-efficient than ETH’s post-Merge PoS. However, ETH’s first-mover advantage and robust layer-2s (Arbitrum/Optimism) keep it dominant, leaving ADA dependent on niche security-focused use cases to gain value traction.
