Love this book. on page 68, @cdixon.eth explains "never be more than 21m bitcoins". Is this due to the unique property that any code change forks the chain, and that fork will need to be adopted as the path forward? Eg, Increasing Bitcoins would be seen as negative and the fork would not be adopted?
