Now platforms used for Automation We have make.com, zapier and N8N. I started with N8N ( n8n.io), created account and opt for the 14days trial. However you can do a self hosting version of N8N where you don’t have to pay. I did a simple Ai automation workflow by sending emails automatically to my self. POW below ⤵️ So what’s API and API Call/request? API simply means Application programming interface, that enables software to speak to one another. API plays the role when you search another website on safari or chrome . It makes that safari communicate with the website. In a real life scenario, API acts as a waiter that allows customers to speak with the kitchen or chef. The waiter receiver the customer requests and send to the kitchen, the kitchen get the request, then send the order back to the waiter and the waiter back to the customer. This is exactly what API does. So API call / request is just a way for the APi server to send information to the software and create action.

Hello base🟦! I’ve decided to make this my safe place and document my skills learning journey (AI AUTOMATION) I’ll be posting about what I learnt everyday (no matter how little) until I fully master it! So, I started today, I learnt about 4 basic things -> What is Automation and its benefits -> Platforms for Automation ( Started with n8n) -> Learnt about API, API keys and API call -> Learnt about basic JSON -> Automate a simple Ai automation workflow Automation in a simpler way is the process of using technology to do task without you. We all have some task we do repetitively everyday or rather some task that’s time consuming and tedious. Automation can help us in this aspect. For instance, you wanto send emails to like 100 applicants, instead of manually sending them ( which can be time consuming & stressful) you can simple automate it based on the workflow you set. Ai Automation benefits includes -> Increase productivity & efficiency -> Saves time -> scale with less resources
