In The Techno-Optimist Manifesto, @pmarca comments 'love doesn't scale'.
I get that, but consider:
"What's the most loving thing I could do with my money?"
1) Forego the new T-shirt & send mum some flowers.
2) Invest in the cancer treatment startup rather than the betting one.
Both love, scaling with the money.
