I guess it turns out we need vanilla users too, not just “builders”
I still think there’s a tipping point at a certain amount of users to make a social network interesting to builders.
I hope FC can reach this tipping point but it was easier with $100m+ warchest.

Most people aren't realizing it yet.
Streaming payments are taking off.
So many experiments happening.
Many are still small.
It's a new, hard to grok concept that is emerging.
@superfluid is empowering a full-scale ecosystem
projects like @streme @betonbangers @superboring @beamr @giveth @flowstatecoop @productclank /degendogs @gardens @gooddollar #Nerite and others (I am missing) are already involved
But you know what is going to make the streaming ecosystem really explode?
@vitalik.eth will write a blog post soon explaining why streaming payments are a new technology building block made possible only by web3 and blockchain - this will grab the attention of the entire space, and devs will start focusing on building out crazy ideas with streaming. This vertical will take over @ethglobal hackathons.
My hyperstition is that this happens prior to ETHDenver early next year, and we see the fruits start to blossom all of 2026 🌸

i am going to write a very original post.
about a topic that most aren't talking about.
some thoughts about farcaster:
i'm worried about the scenario "what if it doesn't grow?"
this is a real concern. we have so many great builders creating new things. but, what if it doesn't grow?
decentralized web3 social is better than the centralized path. but, what if it doesn't grow?
I hope the answer is:
a decentralized web3 social network will win out in the long run. it's the only way.
but, what if it doesn't grow?
