This makes a lot of sense, the market is a superintelligent organism. Smith's invisible hand metaphor hints at this before the concept of superintelligence was even fathomable. The invisible hand *of what?*. A misaligned market produces negative externalities and an aligned market produces positive externalities. political economy is the practice of aligning the market to minimize the former and promote the latter. the market itself does not care about what humans want or desire, so humans must coordinate to try and align the market to what they desire. The unregulated cryptoeconomy is interesting b/c by design it is explicitly unaligned in any direction. Not aligned or misaligned, but *unaligned*. Raw and permissionless, ceding full power to the superintelligent organism I suspect this is why the passive "we" is flawed when thinking about crypto. What happens on e.g. Pump is not the result of our actions or the industry but rather the actions of a superintelligence
