Can someone guide me in mountaineering? I recently saw Nanga Parbat. Now I'm interested in climbing it. First you want to take TINY baby steps towards climbing a monster like Nanga Parbat, you also need to be resigned to the risk of climbing something like Nanga Parbat, it is and incredibly dangerous mountain that can very easily kill you if you go without a vast amount of experience. You will not be guided up Nanga Parbat, you will need to be very experienced, most likely having climbed 3 or 4 8000m peaks, such as Everest, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum 1 and 2. But, to start with these baby steps, you can start progressing quickly, you will want to find somewhere that inspires you. For me, this place is the French/Swiss Alps
