Building something is a covenant.
And it's almost as if you're deployed, the feeling that you need to go down in the trenches with some basic life supplies that last you till you either burn out or fade out.
Then you emerge every week or 10 days, covered in anguish and rage, dripping with the stench of all your failures.
You thank God for dear earth. But know that you will be needed again.
