The Antonov An-225 Mriya was the world’s largest aircraft 6 engines, 88-meter wingspan, able to carry 250 tons. It was originally designed to transport the Soviet space shuttle. Tragically, it was destroyed in 2022 during the war in Ukraine. For aviation fans, it was more than just a plane it was a flying monument to human engineering.
On December 17, 1903, the Wright brothers made history with a 12-second flight in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. That flight covered just 120 feet about the length of a 737’s cabin. In only 66 years after that, humans went from 12 seconds in the air… to walking on the Moon. Aviation progress has been exponentially fast. What do you think the next giant leap will be: electric, supersonic, or even spaceplanes?
