My mega post about walking the Camino Frances for 22 days is live. In 3 parts. I share my personal journey of grief and acceptance, talk about the future, and share some tips and lessons. Hope it helps others also going through grief. https://sceneswithsimon.com/p/my-500km-walk-of-acceptance-alongside

Thanks for sharing about your walk, and glad you found a little bit of peace. I always enjoy reading how people document their ultra-long walks, and the accompanying thoughts that come along. While I haven't walked the Camino, I have had the privilege to walk/hike in many other beautiful places, and I must say that walking is perhaps one of the most wholesome things one can do: super accessible to most, and delectably nourishing for both body and mind.

thanks for sharing this. I'd love to do this pilgrimage someday... my dad is thinking about doing it in the next year or so, but it'd be tough for me to come along with a toddler and a baby on the way. maybe when they're older I'm glad you found some grace for yourself on the journey
