Hey @everyone — I'm Shugo, co-founder of Phi.

We officially launched $PHI last Friday (October 10th) on @base.base.eth. Our TGE was conducted transparently with Aerodrome and Arrakis Finance (via a self-custodial MM vault), meaning there were no insider deals with CEX and MMs.

However, shortly after TGE, we faced a tough market environment following the largest crypto liquidation in history triggered by Trump’s new tariff announcement last Saturday.

I’m doing my best to manage the situation with all stakeholders; Aerodrome, Arrakis Finance, and our investors. Our team remains fully committed to building better products, driving real traction, and growing together with our user and creator community.

$PHI is now live on @AerodromeFi on @base.

Let me tell you our story.

Phi started in January 2022, when I was 21 and living in San Francisco. Our first product, Philand (V1), found great success on Polygon. But after the collapse of FTX and Terra, the 2023 bear market hit us hard, and we faced serious financial challenges.

Still, we never gave up. We secured additional funding, launched Phi Box (V2) on Base in December 2024, and finally reached our TGE last week.

Many founders who started around the same time as Phi couldn’t make it through 2023–2024. But I’ve kept pushing forward; we’ve never stopped building for even a single month. My goal has always been to make Phi fun, unique, and meaningful. I’m simply the guy who never gives up.

Our team allocation is fully locked for four years, with a 12-month cliff and 36-month linear vesting.
We cannot and will not sell any $PHI. You can check the full details in our Tokenomics docs. The only path forward for us is to keep building great products and expanding traction. 

Fortunately, the Base ecosystem is thriving, and our team works closely with the Base team, including Jesse. He traded some board coins on phi.box.

We’re finalizing the roadmap to 2027, which we’ll share this Friday. 
On the same day, we’ll also host a Community AMA in ⁠community-hall, where I’ll personally walk you through our plans, answer your questions, and open the floor for discussion. We’d love for you to join us.
