🧩 What is Restaking on EigenLayer?
- EigenLayer is a protocol built on Ethereum.
- Ethereum has people who lock up ETH (stake) to help secure the network.
- EigenLayer lets those same people reuse their staked ETH to help secure other projects too — like oracles, bridges, or rollups.
- It’s like getting more use out of the same ETH.
💰 Why would anyone do this?
- Because they can earn more rewards by doing extra work — securing other systems while still securing Ethereum.
- But… if they mess up, they lose money (this is called slashing).
