Robinhood has acquired crypto exchange Bitstamp for $200m in cash, expanding its institutional crypto reach across Europe, the UK, and Asia. Bitstamp brings over 5,000 institutional clients and 50,000 retail users, with most volume from institutions. This follows Robinhood’s $179m deal to acquire Canada’s WonderFi announced on May 13.
