Nine years ago around this time, *Arrival* one of the most influential science fiction films directed by Denis Villeneuve and featuring a remarkable performance by Amy Adams, was released in theaters.
Later, Villeneuve spoke about Amy Adams being overlooked at the Oscars:
“It was really disappointing. The whole weight of the movie was on Amy’s shoulders. Acting in a film like this, especially in front of a green screen, is no easy task. It’s truly a shame that her performance wasn’t recognized.”
