This week I (and my team!) built: We are accelerating our plans on Base Talents. After some feedbacks, we are proceeding to our next phase (a.k.a things that don't scale 🥲). So I: - started building our upcoming farcaster bot with farcaster-py and openai (also looking into coinbase agentkit). - made the case for what Base presence in Nigeria is doing (in a national hackathon application video) — opening up a new path to employment of youths through opportunities available onchain, from projects that build on Base and how we plan to accelerate that with our job platform and community. - onboarded 3 new people (newbies who are becoming contributors) to the Base Talents Network. - began sourcing for leaders and builders we could collaborate with from the base community. ps: - the fc bot will make it easier to add tasks to the site from farcaster. - please dm me to come join us in the community (idk if posting external link will get me banned).
This week I (and my team!) built: Improved our onchain builder's app - Base Talents, which was also our BaseAfrica buildathon project Base Talents is our answer to Africa's labour to opportunities unfair gap as talents are equally distributed but opportunities are not. project link: https://base-talents.vercel.app/ We improved: - the Bounty application form modal - the bounty creation form with timings and support for any token rewards. - individual dashboard for employers and builders to manage their bounties/applications. - kick-started our community growth strategy through telegram starting with the initial team members. ps: somethings might break along the way but we are actively working on the app and want to grow the community.
This week I built: had strategy sessions with @nagxoromy on our upcoming initiative for Base Talents Network — where we'll be interviewing (most likely, using podX) builders from the community to share their story, "alphas" and tips that keeps them going in their journey. love how far we have come from this message i sent to the community TG few weeks ago. in other news, project talentsbot (https://github.com/mainstreetlab/talentsbot) is coming stronger 💪🏽🚀..
