In contrast ... Software engineering must blend the strengths of engineer and AI. The engineer defines the varying boundary between human and AI decision-making. She leads domain modeling because AI lacks firsthand understanding of real-world contexts. And these models support ongoing, informed, collaborative, contextual decision-making.

We added the following to our deck: To vibe code is to decide “not to develop a language for that domain, not to model that system and not to build the tools to understand that context.” Source: https://medium.com/feenk/chapter-5-different-folks-for-different-strokes-70d24a750dff

Some tech entrepreneurs definitely have moral ambition. Many of those I know. Rutger did make a brief reference to AI in a New York Times podcast I listened to at the weekend ... albeit VERY brief. 24:09 "Like we're more than rich enough right now ... especially with the rise of AI and I think we should use that the bounty of AI and distribute it equally."

How about whole system metaprogramming? What if we had meta-modeling infrastructure in which all domains — e.g. code, configuration, schema, persistence, APIs — share a reflection-capable symbolic system? That's what we're building @fredwilson.eth The software framework for the LLM age. Battle-tested. cc @tudorizer

Whoa, hold on just one minute there! You don’t seem to have grasped the nature of social media. You’re supposed to dis my work, or me, or preferably my mother. You’ve made me feel deeply uncomfortable.

You refer to technology audits. How about social science audits? After all, this is about people and I think we can agree that people are definitely more in the social science rather than computer science domain. I’d love to be there. Working to see if I can make it happen. I’d love to introduce Transition9. https://transition9.ai

Just to explain the quiet here these last three weeks … The Transition9 Telegram group has been fascinating and — personally speaking — it’s been keeping me busy. But it’s not that we’re neglecting Addresso. On the contrary. We’re tending to the bigger picture of which Addresso is a fundamental part. 💥 If Transition9 intrigues you, you can find the Telegram channel here: https://t.me/transition9

I said, look, you can model from my body, of course, but do you have to make it blue?

We've described Transition9 in rather technical terms to date. The harder challenge is writing about it in ways everyone might understand regardless of their own expertise and talents. Here's Transition9's “Explain it to me like I’m a teenager” :-) https://transition9.ai/explainer.html

It’s useful. Don’t cast typos. Don’t see casts with avoidable typos. I’ve also read my own words and didn’t like my own tone. A quick edit ensures I’m less likely to come over as an arse 😆

I noticed many WebThree apps have shifted back to login only via Email/Google/Apple/Twitter, and then auto-generate a new embedded/smart wallet for me. Wait, wait, wasn’t WebThree supposed to be about logging into any app with just a wallet address, with identity and data fully controlled by the user? 🤨

Been working on this specific topic for seven years. It’s not just ripe with the opportunity to do better. You’re in fact talking about web3’s Achilles heel. Raised some angel to ship a zero-point version in January of the first step in the right direction. https://addresso.com Always happy to talk identity.
